SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, June 2, the San Francisco Police Department reported a suspect was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run incident that transpired in May 2025.

The SFPD reported on May 24, at approximately 6:14 p.m., officers responded to 31st Avenue and Clement Street regarding a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Officers arrived on the scene and located a female and her 5-year-old child, who was struck by a vehicle while riding a push bike. The child was injured due to the collision and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver involved in the collision fled the scene in the vehicle without providing aid or any information.
