ST. LOUIS - A registered sex offender was sentenced to life without parole for child sexual abuse involving a minor he knew through a family connection.

Andre Elgin, 56, was found guilty Tuesday for multiple counts, which include: • One count of first-degree sodomy • Four counts of second-degree child molestation • One count of sexual misconduct involving a minor under the age of 15

Court documents reveal the incidents took place in the Carondelet neighborhood, located in St. Louis, in 2023.
