A Long Beach school aide who worked with disabled children was arrested for allegedly possessing and distributing child pornography.

The suspect was identified as Jaylee Brackman, 22, of Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Brackman was employed as a school aide with the Long Beach Unified School District. She reportedly had access to and worked with children with disabilities.

A district spokesperson told the Long Beach Post that Brackman was a contractor, and not an employee of the district, who had been “providing services at Hughes Middle School since January 2025.”

Her alleged crimes were discovered following an investigation into a separate child pornography case, police said.
