Brenda Tracy , whose allegations of sexual harassment led to the firing of Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker, is suing the university’s Board of Trustees and two sitting members.

Tracy, a rape survivor and activist , filed a federal lawsuit against trustees Rema Vassar and Dennis Denno, along with the board itself, on Tuesday while saying they were responsible for leaking her identity and forcing her to go public with allegations against Tucker. Tracy said their actions led to a series of injuries and damages, including emotional and mental distress and loss of earnings.

The lawsuit features seven counts, including gross negligence and breach of contract, seeks punitive and compensatory damages exceeding $75,000 and was filed in Michigan’s Western District. It claims “Tracy is
