Good morning and happy Wednesday! We are tracking showers and some heavier rain this morning. Rain continues on and off today with more rain chances this week. Some minor flooding is possible.

Flood Headlines

There are several flood alerts this morning across mid-MO. Some communities picked up over 3” of rainfall on Tuesday. Low water crossings, areas prone to flooding, creeks and streams all have the potential for flooding issues. As always, turn around, don’t drown.

Wet Wednesday

Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers and storms. I do expect a lot of dry time but keep the rain gear handy.

Overnight tonight temperatures will drop into the lower 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
