HARRIS COUNTY – A woman was shot and killed Tuesday morning in the 500 block of Cool Spring Drive near the North Freeway and W. Gulf Bank Road, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the woman was possibly shot by a family member. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
