A driver in a fatal crash last fall in Wayne County has been sentenced to prison.
Aaliyah Daz Jhanay Renee Glenn was sentenced Friday to 7 to 15 years at a Michigan Department of Corrections facility, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
Her attorney, Kefee Braxton, was not immediately available for comment Tuesday.
On Oct. 10 at approximately 12:51 p.m, Glenn was driving illegally when Hamtramck police officers conducted a traffic stop on her vehicle at a gas station in the 9200 block of Conant, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
The 23-year-old Detroit resident then allegedly sped away from officers, disregarded a traffic light and drove through the intersection of Conant in East McNichols, crashing into another vehicle.
