EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Evansville residents are invited to "test-drive" the newly redesigned Stockwell Road hybrid intersection ahead of it's opening.

The Indiana Department of Transportation and members of TheLloyd4U Project team are hosting the event.

Organizers say two open houses will offer the public a chance to learn about the intersection.

We're told participants will learn about both features of Stockwell Road's new hybrid intersection and be able to "walk through" an example of a Displaced Left Turn, learn how to navigate a Boulevard Left Turn, view videos, ask questions, and learn more about the project.

There are two different times for the sessions.

The first will be held Wednesday, June 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The second will be held Wednesday, June 4th from 5 p.m.
