(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls man is in custody after a gas station shooting left one person critically injured early Tuesday morning. Police say 35-year-old Wali Adam shot a man during a fight inside the Marathon station on South Minnesota Avenue around 1 a.m. The 24-year-old victim was hit in the back and rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to police, Adam also threatened another man and hit him with the gun before taking off in a white truck. Officers later found the truck and arrested Adam. He’s now charged with attempted murder and assault, with bond set at 750 thousand dollars.
