Meet the Mets
The Mets and Dodgers had yet another game decided by one run after ten innings but this time the Dodgers emerged victorious in a 6-5 result. Tylor Megill went six innings, giving up four runs on four hits and a walk while tallying seven strikeouts. Huascar Brazonbán gave up a run and got charged with a blown save, while José Buttó, yesterdays hero, gave up the winning run and got the loss. Juan Soto hit a two run home run for his third home run in the last four games, while Alonso had two hits and two RBI. In his return to the major leagues, Ronny Mauricio went hitless with a single strikeout.
