QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for the man accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl as she rode the E subway train in Queens on May 28, according to the NYPD.

Police said it happened around 5:30 p.m. near the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue subway station. The suspect got off the train at the Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer subway station after the incident, according to authorities.

Police said the girl was not injured during the incident.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and black shoes and was carrying a black bookbag, according to authorities.
