Somerset junior Kole Grundy has been named the Commonwealth Journal Player of the Year for baseball for the second year in a row. Grundy had a fantastic season on both sides of the ball, hitting .429 with 42 hits, 24 RBI’s and five home runs, while pitching to a 7-3 record with just a 1.78 earned run average (15 earned runs total) along with 68 strikeouts.

Raygan New The senior makes the All-County Team after averaging .416 at the plate with 42 hits and 19 RBI’s while striking out just nine times in 101 at-bats.
