The Henderson Lions Club hopes to remind the community that the 3rd annual Kid Fish program will be held at Lake Forest Park, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 8.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department officials will be stocking the small lake with catfish this Thursday. Coinciding with the local event, Texas Parks and Wildlife officials remind would-be fishermen that across the state of Texas fishing licenses will not be required on this particular summer day.

Lions Club members will make their way out to the most popular fishing areas along the lake’s banks to chum the water prior to the event, improving the odds that event-goers will make a catch.
