PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police said two teenage boys are being held behind bars after they were accused of robbing a boy at gunpoint in Woodbridge.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, minutes before 7:15 p.m. on June 2, officers were called to the Smoketown Road and Rollingwood Drive area to investigate a robbery.
Once on the scene, police learned that a 14-year-old boy was walking when three teens approached him. During the encounter, one of the teens took out a gun and removed the boy's backpack.
Police noted that none of the boy's items were taken before the trio left the area.
As the investigation continued, police located two 15-year-old boys who were allegedly involved in the robbery. They were arrested and charged with robbery and use of
