RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — An 18-year-old faces charges after a fire was set at a high school in Raleigh.

According to arrest warrants, Jeremaine Cotton is charged with burning of a school house and disorderly conduct.

On May 30, around 1:31 p.m., Raleigh police said they responded to a fire at Enloe High School located at 128 Clarendon Crescent. Investigators said Cotton started a small fire in a bathroom trash can, and it was later put out prior to Raleigh fire officials arriving.

Due to the fire, the school's fire alarms were set off, causing evacuations, according to court documents.
