Cassandra Kennedy has always been the kind of person to pay it forward to others whatever the need.

“It’s what’s in my heart. I’ve been like this all my life. You know if I could do it, I’ll do it. If I got ten, I’ll give you five. It’s just me,” said Cassandra.

Three years ago her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which has required multiple surgeries, frequent hospital visits, and many chemo treatment trips to Birmingham and Atlanta.
