COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Ohio State is making three changes to its nonconference football schedules.

Each season, the Buckeyes play three teams outside the Big Ten in their 12-game regular season, with changes being made to the teams they'll play in 2029 and 2030.

Originally in 2029, Ohio State was slated to play Nevada but has replaced that game with one against Navy. The Buckeyes have played the Midshipmen five times and won each, most recently in 2014 in Annapolis, Maryland.

Because of the addition of Navy in 2029, Ohio State and Nevada agreed to shift their game to 2030. The Buckeyes have also added a 2029 game against Youngstown State at Ohio Stadium on Sept. 15, 2029. Charlotte rounds out that 2029 nonconference schedule.

2030 still has one open nonconference slot for the season
