VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Vanderburgh County deputies arrested a man after they say he wrecked on some railroad tracks while drunk driving with two teens in the vehicle.

Deputies were called to an area of Dixie Flyer Road near Broadway Avenue on Tuesday night around 10:30 p.m.

When deputies arrived, they spoke with a CSX Supervisor who pointed them in the direction of a car with heavy front-end damage and popped tires, stuck on the railroad tracks.

Deputies say the driver, Randall Drury, smelled like alcohol and had slurred speech. They say there were two teenage kids in the wrecked vehicle with Drury.

Through an investigation, authorities say they determined Drury was speeding and failed to navigate a turn, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and drive onto the railroad
