On May 30, students from the French American School of Puget Sound (FASPS) participated in a spirited and sustainable event: the FASPS Pedibus! Starting at 7:30 a.m., students, teachers and parent volunteers gathered at two locations — the Mercer Island Park-and-Ride and the South Bellevue Park-and-Ride — to walk together to school in celebration of energy conservation and community. “With students dressed in FASPS spirit wear, this joyful green initiative is a powerful reminder that small steps can lead to a big impact. Organized by the school’s Green Committee, the Pedibus event reflects FASPS’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and student engagement,” reads a press release.
