BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- The Buffalo Irish Festival is once again bringing the luck of the Irish to the Queen City, this time in August.
The festival kicks off with a parade at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 in which flag bearers and sign holders can receive free admission to the festival. The 0.1 mile long parade route begins near Fr. Conway Park in the Old First Ward.
Highlights of the festival will include Irish dance, cultural traditions, and local food and drink. U2 tribute act DESIRE and other musicians will headline the two-day festival.
The festival will take place at Buffalo River Fest Park. It will be open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Aug. 2 and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 3.
