PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (WFRV) - A supplier of methamphetamine and two suspected dealers in Wisconsin were recently arrested after a traffic stop prompted a large-scale investigation, leading to authorities confiscating over 350 grams of meth.

The investigation, led by the Prairie du Chien Police Department, began with a traffic stop on February 28 in the 1400 block of South Marquette Road after what officers called 'suspicious activity.' A K9 was called in to perform an open-air sniff on the outside of the vehicle and gave a positive alert.

During the traffic stop, officers were made aware that the passenger had methamphetamine "concealed inside a body cavity." That suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Derek D. White of Prairie du Chien, was taken to a local hospital where roughly fo
