BILLINGS, Mont. – Yellowstone County sheriffs are investigating the disappearance and death of a horse named Zap. Detectives are seeking public assistance and have released images of Zap, who was last seen in Billings near its home.

The horse is identifiable by a distinct scar near its rear hip. The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office urges anyone with information to contact them immediately.
