BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office says homicide detectives arrested five individuals accused of being involved in a deadly shooting in April.

Officials say the shooting occurred at an apartment complex in the 16000 block of South Harrell’s Ferry Road on April 30. It resulted in the death of 25-year-old David Turley III.

Deputies say upon arrival to the scene, they discovered Turley suffering from a gunshot would to his torso. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
