BAXTER STATE PARK- Searchers spent the day scouring the top of Mount Katahdin trying to find a missing hiker.
Tim Keiderling, 58, and his 28-year-old daughter Esther of New York were last seen around 10:15 Sunday morning heading in the direction of the Katahdin summit.
A search began Monday after Baxter State Park Rangers found their car still in the parking lot.
Tim Keiderling's body was found by a Maine Warden Service K-9 team Tuesday afternoon.
There was no sign of Esther .
Officials say helicopters used thermal imaging to look for her well into the night.
Today crews have been searching both on the ground and by air.
