MAINE, USA — Kelly & Associates Insurance Group, Inc., known as Kelly Benefits, has notified 18,820 Maine residents that their personal data may have been exposed in a cybersecurity breach. The Maryland-based company offers insurance, benefits, payroll, and other management services.
The breach occurred between Dec. 12 and Dec. 17, 2024, according to a notice filed with the Maine Attorney General’s Office. Suspicious activity was discovered in March 2025, prompting an investigation with third-party cybersecurity experts.
The breach affected 488,139 individuals nationwide. The exposed information may include names, Social Security numbers, and financial account details.
