CHESTER, Calif. - The Seneca Healthcare Foundation hosted a charity golf tournament on Friday at the Bailey Creek Golf Course.
Organizers say the event aimed to raise funds for the new Lake Almanor Community Hospital.
Over 100 golfers, including sponsors and healthcare professionals, participated. The event featured a Mash-themed drink station and stand-up comedians providing entertainment.
Chelssa Outland, Executive Director of SHF, expressed gratitude for the community's support.
"The turnout was incredible, and it’s heartwarming to see our community rally around such an important cause," said Outland. "This hospital will be a cornerstone of health and wellness for generations to come."
Officials say that the new hospital, expected to open in 2027, will enhance medical services for
