SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Social media company Reddit has filed a lawsuit against artificial intelligence startup Anthropic for breach of contract. The lawsuit, which was filed in San Francisco on Wednesday, accused the AI company of scraping Reddit user comments to train its chatbot "Claude."
The suit alleges that Anthropic has been training its AI models using the personal data of Reddit users without their consent. Reddit alleges it has been harmed by the unauthorized use of its content and user data.
