PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Memories fade over time, but June 4, 2010 remains vivid for Kaine Horman.
"Going down to meet him at the bus stop and he’s not there, and then it progresses very quickly," Horman told KOIN 6 News. "The stress, the panic, I think the general traumatization of the whole scenario."
Wednesday marks 15 years since his 7-year-old son Kyron was last seen at Portland's Skyline Elementary science fair with his stepmother, Terri Horman.
He vanished.
Despite dozens of searches, hundreds of law enforcement personnel and thousands of investigative hours on the case, Kyron has never been found and no arrests have ever been made.
"Days go to weeks and it's a blur, honestly," Kaine Horman said. "But no, I didn't think we'd ever be at this point."
