NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Nashville is one day away from the 52nd annual CMA Fest, which is expected to bring close to a million people to Music City. As a result, safety remains a top priority.

The Metro Nashville Police Department hosted a press conference outside of Nissan Stadium on Wednesday, June 4 to discuss the hundreds of officers and other first responders that will work this weekend. Local authorities are also working with federal law enforcement partners to maintain a safe environment.

"Right now, we don't have any credible threats to the event. We've been in contact with Homeland Security and FBI," Metro Police Chief John Drake said.
