Testimony continued Tuesday in the murder trial of Karen Read, who is accused of backing her SUV into her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O’Keefe, and leaving him for dead.
On Monday, the defense called a number of witnesses , including forensic pathologist Dr. Marie Russell, who testified that the scratches on John O’Keefe’s arm appeared to have come from dog bites.
She returned to the stand Tuesday morning for cross-examination before the defense called Dighton police Sgt. Nicholas Barros as their next witness.
