UNION, N.J. (PIX11) -- Four-year-old Dylan Ramirez of Union, New Jersey, is making a name for himself as a budding young entrepreneur.

Dressed as a cowboy and dubbed ‘Cowboy Dylan,’ Ramirez sells candy in his local park to help learn the value of money and raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“I like to work,” said Ramirez.

Ramirez’s mom, Sasha Lazo, said she came up with the idea as a way to teach him how to manage money.

“I just wanted to teach him that not everything is given for free,” said Lazo. “You have to work hard for it.”

Lazo said her son has fully embraced the idea. “Dylan tells me something, ‘Mom, let’s go to work,’ joked Lazo.

Lazo drives her son to the park and chaperones him as he sells cookies, chocolate, mints, and more. His goal is to raise $1,000
