NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Over the next few days, there's the chance to see isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon and early evening hours. Not everyone will see these storms and there is no severe potential through Saturday.
Humidity has surely made a comeback this week following last weekend's brief break. In fact, it's feeling "very humid" and the heat index is at triple digits as temperatures reach the 90-degree mark.
It's going to be toasty so please be sure to monitor how much time you spend outdoors, stay hydrated, "rock the 'block" or sunscreen, and check-in on those who don't particularly do well in the heat.
As for your latest update for the tropics, there's currently a 0% chance for any formation of a Tropical Storm and/or Hurricane over the next 2 to 7-days.
