The Broncos are continuing efforts to improve their running back room.

A source said Denver is hosting a free-agent visit with J.K. Dobbins on Wednesday and Thursday. Dobbins, 26, rushed for 905 yards last season with the Los Angeles Chargers, missing four games due to a sprained knee.

The Broncos selected RJ Harvey in the second round of the draft in April with an expectation that he could be the starter. They also have running backs Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime, who have looked to be in good position to make the 53-man roster.

Dobbins was a second-round pick out of Ohio State by Baltimore in 2020 and rushed for 805 yards as a rookie. He then played in just nine games for the Ravens over the next three injury-riddled seasons, having suffered a torn ACL and a torn Achilles tendon
