Tropical low is out, then a temporary break before an active pattern returns

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-The forecast is transitioning from a tropical low pressure system to a series of storm complexes in the extended forecast.

This will add showers and storms back into the region just in time for the weekend but we are not seeing all day storms.

Sunday a physical cool front will drape across the southeast including our region. The front will eventually dissipate and set the stage for a typical summer pattern, with pop-up pm showers and storms.
