AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Teachers from across the Texas Panhandle gathered to help one another hone their skills with special education students.
Region 16 holds its Special Education (SPED) conference every year to bring teachers and professionals together to share and collaborate ways to teach and guide students with unique needs.
This year, Region 16 brought in guest speaker Patrick Mulick from Washington State.
Mulick is a board certified behavioral analyst who inspires educators all over the country.
More than 170 teachers attended the camp today, where they were exposed to various forms of interventions and techniques to best support their students’ needs.
“We have teachers, service providers, we got folks here from Turn Center. They provide direct services, [occupational therap
