MARTINSBURG — James Rumsey Technical Institute invited students to attend its annual Summer Career Camp this week, giving them the chance to experience different careers and programs.
The camp is designed to get students in eighth and ninth grade interested in what JRTI has to offer and help them find potential career paths that interest them.
Cai’lee Ibeeze, Ruby Lampson and Alaina Kesecker are three students who participated in the camp. Ibeeze first heard about the program from a counselor who gave her a flyer and encouraged her to try it out. Lampson and her mom first heard about the program on Facebook and thought it would be a great opportunity.
