PHENIX CITY, Ala. (WRBL) — Residents at a Phenix City apartment complex are being forced to move out of their homes due to a notice to vacate the property.

Residents say 45 days ago, Phenix City code enforcement officials posted notices throughout the Edmond Estates Apartment Complex stating the structures were "unfit for human habitation."
