FARGO — The battle for the best burger in downtown Fargo is officially underway with the launch of the 2025 Burger Royale.

Now in its third year, the contest features 18 different restaurants competing for top honors in burger excellence.

Customers can rate each burger in five categories: patty, bread, toppings, creativity and customer service.

The event is organized by H2M Brand Haus, which said the goal is to boost business and community spirit in downtown Fargo.

"Let’s help out our restaurateurs that are downtown and drive some traffic and have some fun about it, and create a sense of community is what we really wanted to do," said Dan Altenbernd, CEO of H2M Brand Haus.
