DECORAH, Iowa – Two of three men accused of burglarizing two northeast Iowa homes have been sentenced.

Dalton Lee Hagen, 27 of Cresco, and Travis Jeffery Olson, 39 of Cresco, both pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree burglary. Both were sentenced to five years of supervised probation. Hagen was also fined $1,025.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office says two homes were broken into in January 2025 in the northern part of the county. With the help of Driftless Security Solutions, deputies located and arrested three suspects in Howard County.

The third suspect, Troy M. Sobolik, 51 of Cresco, is still pleading not guilty to two counts of third-degree burglary. His trial is scheduled to begin on July 9.

In addition, Hagen had entered a guilty plea to committing an unlawful act
