An unsettled weather pattern is setting up across the Quad State area, bringing with it multiple chances for rain and thunderstorms through Saturday.

We are watching a frontal boundary draped across the region that will interact with disturbances moving through the area. This will lead to periods of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce heavy rainfall. While severe weather is not expected to be widespread, a few storms may become severe, especially on Friday afternoon. The primary threat with any severe storms will be damaging winds.
