AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amarillo Independent School District Assistant Athletic Director, Andrea Edwards, received multiple awards from the Texas High School Athletic Directors Associations (THSADA).

Edwards was the first-ever recipient of the Dr. Charles E. Breithaupt Citation Award, named after the longtime UIL Executive Director. The award signifies not just hard-work that is put in with THSADA, but also the quality of service.

Edwards says that receiving the award was an indescribable feeling to be honored in the name of someone who was inspiration to her in the early parts of her career.
