KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Missouri Highway Patrol is hitting the metro to help in street crime busts.

KCTV5 has reported on several arrests made by the KCPD within the past few weekends, and now they are learning how the highway patrol is assisting them. It’s a partnership they’re revamping for a second year.

Troopers said they’ve been getting a lot more calls to come and assist KCPD on street crimes like street racing and sideshows.

Corporal Justin Howard spoke with KCTV5 and explained their role in this initiative.
