LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The man accused of shooting and killing his landlord in Las Vegas may have lost his job before getting evicted, according to documents.
FOX5 obtained the arrest report for Christopher Rainey. He faces open murder with a deadly weapon and assault. Las Vegas Metro Police said the shooting happened Thursday at 4:46 p.m. at 3665 North Campbell Road near Gowan.
According to the arrest report, LVMPD dispatch received a call saying a tenant at the residence shot the landlord. They identified the suspect as Rainey.
When officers arrived, Rainey exited the home and was taken into custody. On his holster was a black semi-automatic handgun.
Inside the home, the landlord was found face down with a gunshot wound to his back. Police identified him as Steven Lucchesi. He died
