BOISE, Idaho — Boise firefighters contained a second-story apartment fire Wednesday evening that displaced four units without power.

The Boise Fire Department said it responded to a fire around 6 p.m. at an apartment complex near the intersection of North Hartman and West Irving Street. Arriving fire crews found smoke coming from the left side of a second-story apartment.

Boise Fire said all occupants had safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. Crews quickly extinguished the fire before it could spread to nearby units, and "Fire damage was contained to the apartment where the fire originated."

One firefighter sustained minor injuries during the response.
