CULLMAN, Ala. – As the 2024-2025 school year comes to a close, the Cullman City Board of Education is looking back at a year marked by significant achievements and milestones across its schools and programs, from long-awaited expansions to continued high academic achievement that has come to define Cullman City Schools.

Heading into summer, here are some of the major accomplishments over the past school year and what they mean for local students and the community.

August 2024

Broke ground on a new second grade playground at Cullman City Primary School

Started the school year with approximately 3,200 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade

Approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cullman Police Department to enhance student safety as a top priority
