NORWALK – An investigation was underway Wednesday following the fatal shooting of a man in Norwalk.

Homicide detectives responded to Pioneer Boulevard and Los Alisos Circle at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday following a report of a shooting, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

It was unclear what motivated the shooting, and there was no description of a suspect.

The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
