HOUSTON — Three of Humble ISD's baseball programs -- Kingwood , Atascocita , and Kingwood Park -- are preparing to compete for state championships this Friday and Saturday at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

For Humble ISD Athletic Director Mike McEachern, it's a moment filled with pride, excitement and nerves.

"The excitement, the nervous stomach, the butterflies, um, you know, hopefully the kids are a little more, uh, control their emotions and I probably will be, um, but you know just how proud I am of everyone involved again with the, the coaches and the kids and the community," McEachern told KHOU 11's Zack Tawatari.

The district has already seen multiple state titles this year, including Kingwood Park cheerleading, Summer Creek girls' Basketball and Kingwood High School softball
