CATAWBA CO., N.C. – A Catawba County judge set a bond of $200,000 for a 20-year-old attempted murder suspect charged in connection to a deadly house party. Authorities say Garon Killian fired shots into a crowd early Sunday morning, killing one person and injuring 11 others. Law enforcement agencies are outraged at the bond amount, which was set against the recommendation of the district attorney. At last check, Garon Killian is still in custody at the Catawba County Detention Center. But, law enforcement agencies are concerned he will make bond and be back on the streets. Authorities charged Killian and Toland Huff, Jr. with attempted murder for shooting down into a crowd of people on Walnut Acres Drive early Sunday morning.
