WASHINGTON — One family in Northwest D.C. is asking for help in finding the moped delivery driver who hit their 10-year-old and left on Monday afternoon.
According to Lapria Smith, her son Zaevion was riding a push scooter with his older sister around 3:30 p.m. on Monday near the intersection of Warder Street NW and Columbia Road NW.
On Thursday, the Metropolitan Police Department released new photos of the man who they believe was riding the moped.

Officers also identified what they believe is the man's Maryland license plate with the tag 5830Y.
She says a delivery driver on a moped turned the corner too quickly and collided with her children, knocking Zaevion to the
