HOWLAND, Ohio - One person has been taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a greenhouse in Howland Wednesday morning.

The incident happened when a woman had pulled into the parking lot of Gilmore's Greenhouse on Virginia Avenue SE, but accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake.

This caused the woman's car to go through a fence and hit the building. Despite the crash, there is minimal structure damage to the building and the greenhouse is still open for business and safe to be in.

One person who was working at the greenhouse at the time of the crash was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be ok.
